Candace Shure
Candace’s interiors have been described as having a youthful sophistication and focused perspective. She is highly adept at mixing both new and vintage pieces to create rooms that are punctuated with character and personality.
Candace is well-versed in all the major design styles and eras, and calls on her knowledge of historical design references and methods from her education at FIDM in Downtown Los Angeles to provide vibrancy and context to the spaces she designs. She has gained broad experience from working throughout LA in furniture workshops, showrooms, and ultimately scoring a coveted roll with the tony design firm Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design. Working directly under the principals, Candace attained invaluable knowledge and expertise in the industry and continues to be mentored by Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield.
From this strong foundation, she is able to cleverly mix her clients’ existing furniture and art to form a space that reflects their style, while also enriching the overall aesthetic they’re aspiring to create together. While the majority of her clients and projects are based in LA, she has also recently expanded to other parts of the country through her Virtual Room Design services.
Candace’s passion for design runs deep, but her fondness for the streamlined modernity of the Bauhaus aesthetic as well as the curvilinear forms from the Vienna Secession, are among her favorite styles that shape her point of view and approach to design. From painting, cooking, candle making, and embroidery, Candace is always looking for new ways to explore and express her creativity and love of the creative process.
