Project Manager

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the design team to develop and execute project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and design intent.
- Oversee multiple interior design projects simultaneously, managing project schedules, resources, and client expectations.
- Utilize your expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Studio Designer to create detailed and accurate design drawings, models, and presentations.
- Lead communication with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project progression, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and final presentations to clients, showcasing design concepts and solutions effectively.
- Coordinate procurement of materials, furnishings, and accessories, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design implementation aligns with plans and specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, including contracts, budgets, invoices, and correspondence.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and software updates to continuously enhance project management and design skills.
Additional Requirement:
- As our studio prepares to open a small showroom in the fall, we are seeking candidates who are willing and excited to contribute to the retail aspect of the store. This may involve assisting customers, showcasing products, and sharing design insights. Flexibility to engage in both project management and retail activities is crucial.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in an interior design or architecture firm, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Studio Designer software is required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients, team members, and external stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics and quality.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative and fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with construction processes, codes, and regulations is a plus.
- Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is a bonus.
